Greg Kefalas been making music for nearly 30 years, professionally for 20, as a producer, composer, performer, ghost producer, arranger, music director, and consultant. He has worked in rock, jazz, funk, hip-hop, electronica, dance, R&B, pop, a capella, orchestra, and more.

Greg is the co-founder and musical & creative director of New York Holiday Singers, Inc., a contemporary/jazz holiday acapella entertainment company home to the popular ensembles New York Holiday Choristers and Men Singing Carols. He has been interviewed and featured performing on Good Morning America (ABC, 2017-2019), The Rachael Ray Show (CBS, 2012), NBC5 New York (2015), Fox 5’s Friday Night Live (2014), Cityscape (WFUV, 2010), The Arts File (WQXR, 2009), Pia Lindström Presents on SiriusXM (2015), and many more. He and his wife were profiled in a feature on CBS Sunday Morning (2004) and in Crain’s Business (2010), and Greg has performed all over New York City, most notably opening for Pentatonix on their Christmas tours (2017-2019).

Greg’s other projects include: Luquado (electronic music and the YouTube show Groove Academy), Conspiracy of Violet (a prog pop-rock ensemble), and Mattermind, a boutique agency specializing in creative strategy & software development, creators of the website management platform Phosis.

Greg has spent his entire life in love with winter and the holiday season. It brings him great joy and happiness to share the music of this most wonderful time of the year with the world. He is the self-styled President of Christmas, with extensive knowledge of Christmas and holiday season traditions and their historical context.

He lives in Astoria, NY, with his wife (and New York Holiday Singers, Inc. co-founder) Jen, his home project studio, and an extensive collection of coffee-making accouterments and whiskies.
